  • Call us at (914) 644-8222 or stop by during shop hours to book an appointment or check walk-in availability. You can also send an email to bigjoeswp@gmail.com with:

    • your name and phone number

    • reference pictures and a description of the tattoo you want

    • where you want to put the tattoo

    • a rough estimate of size

    • desired artist (if you have one)

    We will get back to you with the next available appointment. If the tattoo is larger, we ask that you first come in for a consultation, which do not require appointments.

    A deposit ($50-$200, depending on tattoo size) is required within 24 hours of booking an appointment. We take Venmo, Zelle, card over the phone, or you can drop it off in person.

    The deposit comes off the price of the tattoo, or the price of the final session if there are multiple sittings. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice.

    The artist will draw your tattoo for the day of the appointment, where you can go over any changes at that time.

  • Yes! We are open for piercings from 12:30pm to 8pm, every day of the week except Tuesdays.

    Piercings are done on a walk-in basis, so no appointment is necessary. We do recommend you call before you come in to double-check the piercer is in.

    We carry surgical steel and 14-karat gold jewelry options for a variety of facial and body piercings, all of which are performed using a needle and not a piercing gun. Click here for aftercare instructions. Call or email the shop for pricing.

  • For tattoos — if we have space, yes! Call the shop, send an e-mail, or stop by to check availability. We will do our best to get you an appointment on the same day.

    For piercings, we take walk-ins. No appointment is needed.

  • The shop minimum for tattoos is $80. Prices increase based on tattoo size, style, location, and a variety of other factors. Artist can give flat rates for small to mid-size tattoos once the design is complete. Prices for larger pieces are based on each artist’s hourly rate. Contact the shop for more info.

  • For piercings, we accept cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

    Tattoos are cash only.

  • Make sure you get a good night’s sleep the night before. Eat a good meal in the hours leading up to the appointment. Wear something comfortable. Do not drink alcohol or do drugs prior to your appointment. Bring your ID.

  • If there is enough room, one person can accompany you to the artist area. However, if the shop is too crowded at that time, this may not be possible.

  • Yes, we carry a full line of vegan inks. Just ask your artist.
